So I've started to notice a rise in usage of my art on various places around the internet. I'm pretty happy about it, but one thing kinda bothers me, too. In fact, just a quick google image search of "itsyouforme" reveals most of the blogs/websites that have my art posted.

I intentionally leave my art to download (without watermarks or a personal signature) for exactly this purpose, I want it to be able to be used and appreciated. However, I most certainly do not appreciate people reposting it on a site like flickr without giving a link back. Personal blog? Sure. You're website? Ok. (as long as they link back and don't claim it as their own) But Flickr? Flickr is for original creations, not reposting cool stuff you find.

Also, if I had known that Media Overload would have become so popular (try a google image search for "media overload"), I would have made a better version of it. The inconsistencies in it are bothering me.

On another note, OneRepublic's new album is absolutely stellar.

Alright, I figured it was time for an update. Even though few (if any of you) actually read this. Can't blame you, not very interesting.

First off, I'm getting pretty annoyed at DeviantArt pushing their "subscription" feature (or whatever they call it now) at people so hard. No, I don't need this feature, and I doubt that it will boost pageviews. Exposure will find you if you're good enough. I don't have this feature, and yet I've been contacted for a job and I have over 100 watchers. That's pretty decent exposure, wouldn't you say? I'd be lying if I said I don't want more, but I definitely don't think that getting that feature will help in that respect.

Secondly - If you guys feel like responding, how do you feel my art has been progressing? And what do you think of my "Smoking" poster? I've been inspired recently by the Good Is infographics.

Last - My website is coming soon. I promise. Probably around Christmas. Are you guys excited?

So i only took about 250 (was only there a couple hours) and boiled them down to about 35 that are kinda/sorta worth looking at. Far from anything special, but hey, they're pretty interesting. Too lazy to upload to flickr at this point, so you can find them here.

does anyone consider the "small" tweaks to browsing an improvement?

I'd just like to take time and thank you all for watching me! It always makes my day to see you appreciate my art. I remember my milestone goal to get to 20, and now I'm at 100! I've really only been active for about a year, so this is pretty cool. I'll be uploading a "100 Watchers" deviation soon.
